CTOnews.com, October 11, Qt Framework version 6.6 has been officially released, mainly introducing "Qt Graphs", adding "responsive layout" to Qt Quick, and improving the text-to-speech (Text to Speech) module.

The Qt Quick module adds a "responsive layout (Responsive Layouts)" to improve the experience of interface elements at different proportions.

▲ source Qt official Qt 6.6 also improved the Text To Speech module, adding support for Microsoft Speech API (SAPI) 5 on the Windows platform, which, as its name implies, is used to convert text into speech.

Qt WebEngine added API to access privacy and security settings, and applications that currently use Qt WebEngine to render Web content can now use API to access privacy and security settings. This gives you more control over how the Chromium runtime behaves and allows you to disable unwanted features.

In addition, the new API for Qt Quick font types allows developers to configure specific font features, and the Qt Quick Shapes module can now use experimental curve renderers and specialized clip shaders to generate higher-quality curve anti-aliasing renderings.
