Acer legendary Edge 16 gives people the first impression that it is extremely light and thin. The large 16-inch fuselage has only the weight of 1.24kg and the lowest thickness of 12.95mm, which girls can easily pick up.

The screen uses a 16:10 ratio of 3200 to 2000 resolution, which is obviously aimed at productivity needs. Coupled with the display characteristics of OLED, the screen is transparent and bright. In terms of parameters, this screen of Acer Legend Edge 16 also has 120Hz refresh rate, 400nit brightness (non-HDR mode), 100% DCI-P3 gamut, support DisplayHDR Ture Black 500 certification and Rheinland TUV low blue eye protection certification.

According to the panel parameters of AIDA64, the panel model of Acer Legend Edge 16 is ATNA60BX03-0, the standard Samsung panel. The CD face of Acer Legend Edge 16 is made of magnesium aluminum alloy, and the surface is still treated with frosted particles, which can enhance the unity of the feel of the fuselage on the one hand, and better resist fouling and reduce fingerprint contamination on the other. Performance and heat dissipation in the face of such a huge screen + light body, but also equipped with the AMD Ruilong 77840U processor, which is very popular on the Windows handset, everyone must be very curious about its performance and actual experience.

For specific hardware parameters, you can refer to the figure above. It can be said that this configuration basically represents the flagship thin cost level of the current mainstream. The AMD Ruilong 77840U processor uses 8 cores and 16 threads in the core specification, the highest Boost frequency can reach 5.1GHz, and the design power consumption is 15-30W TDP. After 10 minutes of single-baking FPU, the CPU power consumption is kept at about 21W, when the CPU temperature is only 64 degrees, and the CPU core frequency is stable at 2649MHz. This power consumption strategy is obviously conservative, considering its thin body, temperature and noise control, such heat dissipation adjustment is understandable.

Next is the test of CineBench R23, the power consumption of the roaster is about 20W. They need a bigger and better screen, a lighter fuselage, sufficient performance and good heat and noise control. Long life, and Acer legendary Edge 16 is fully able to meet these demands.
