On October 11, OPPO announced that it would cooperate with MediaTek to build a lightweight large model end-to-side deployment plan, through the use of 4-bit quantization technology to achieve better performance at the lower end of the accuracy effect, and jointly promote the gradual landing of the AndesGPT large language model and multimodal large model at the end side.

AndesGPT is a generative user-specific model of OPPO self-training. The model takes "end-cloud collaboration" as the infrastructure design idea, and puts forward more than 1 billion model specifications with different parameter sizes from 100 billion to 100 billion, to achieve the effect of local and cloud cooperation.

AndesGPT carries on the operator fusion and optimization to the end-to-side reasoning engine of the large model, so that the generation speed of the results is faster than the normal reading speed of human beings, so that it can better meet the needs of users.

AndesGPT appeared on the C-Eval Global Chinese language list and topped the list with a high score of 79.9.

On the same day, the new Xiaobu assistant based on the AndesGPT model opened a new round of public testing, and the new Xiaobu assistant upgraded the traditional voice assistant at the kernel level to bring users a more intelligent experience. In terms of knowledge and question and answer, the coverage and accuracy of large language model knowledge and encyclopedia ability are significantly improved by introducing high-quality knowledge graph, QA question and answer number, and combining with the optimization of pre-training and instruction fine tuning technology. In September this year, OPPO AndesGPT entered the SuperCLUE list and scored 98.33 on the AndesGPT test of "knowledge and Encyclopedia" in the top 10 basic competencies, far ahead of other major models, second only to GPT4 and the top three in "role-playing ability".

Since 2020, OPPO has started the exploration and practice of technologies related to the AI model, and has won the first place in the large-scale knowledge graph question and answer KgCLUE industry evaluation and the first place in Chinese natural language understanding CLUE. In the future, AndesGPT will continue to enhance the AI capability of OPPO intelligent assistant Xiao Bu, bring a better user experience for users, and gradually apply it to more OPPO core products.

ColorOS 14 will be unveiled at the OPPO developer conference on November 16, and AndesGPT's more diverse application scenarios may be released at the same time.
