CTOnews.com October 11, according to foreign science and technology media MSPowerUser reports, Mozilla plans to release Firefox 120browser on November 21, 2023, focusing on the introduction of Fakespot's Review Checker tool to censor false comments from Amazon and other e-commerce platforms.

Mozilla acquired Fakespot in May this year. CTOnews.com Note: Fakespot is a startup that helps users identify fake news through website and browser extensions, using A to F ratings to identify fake comments on Amazon, Yelp, TripAdvisor, Wal-Mart and eBay.

The Review Checker tool uses AI to identify manually generated or user-reviewed content. Saoud Khalifah, founder of Fakespot, said at the time of the acquisition that reviews are important for the online shopping experience, because consumers often can't touch the real thing before choosing a product and need to rely on reviews for multi-dimensional understanding.
