CTOnews.com Jaguar F-type sports cars are about to be discontinued, but not before the brand launches a special edition model called ZP Edition, inspired by the color scheme of historical E-type racing cars. Jaguar said the 2024 F-TYPE ZP version would be the brand's last combustion engine sports car.

Only 150 ZP Edition models will be produced and will be available in both hardtop and convertible body forms. The first color scheme is an Alton blue exterior with a red and black leather interior, and the other is a crystal grey exterior with a dark blue and black interior. The ZP Edition also features a white circular logo on the doors, just like an old-fashioned racing car. In addition, both color models are equipped with ceramic white front grille frames.

CTOnews.com notes that compared with the regular F-TYPE version, the 2024 F-TYPE ZP version adds some SV customization kits, including striped stitching seats, bright black brake calipers and 20-inch forged alloy rims, and offers exclusive F-TYPE ZP EDITION letters on the center console, sill and rim, with an exclusive nameplate between the two seats symbolizing the limited edition model.

All ZP Edition models will feature the top-of-the-line powertrain of the F-type sports car, namely a 5.0-liter V8 engine with supercharger, maximum power of 575 hp, all-wheel drive and eight-speed automatic transmission. For reference, the 2019 F-TYPE 5.0T SVR hardtop version has an acceleration time of 3.7 seconds from 0-100 km/h and a maximum speed of 322 km/h.

Jaguar said earlier that the brand plans to transform into an all-electric luxury brand by 2025.
