CTOnews.com, October 11 (Xinhua)-- before attending the Tokyo Motor Show at the end of this month, Nissan unveiled its second concept vehicle, the Hyper Adventure EV, designed for outdoor enthusiasts.

Hyper Adventure EV Nissan announced the Hyper Adventure EV plan in a press release on Monday and at an event at the technology center in Hougi City, Kanagawa Prefecture, and shared pictures of the angular EV concept car. Nissan says the vehicle is suitable for outdoor enthusiasts, environmentalists and others who want to take risks in a harsh environment. CTOnews.com noted that the new concept car uses a similar design language to the Hyper Urban EV concept car unveiled by Nissan earlier this month.

The car is expected to have a V2X function, meaning it can not only be recharged, but also provide power to other devices, Hyper Urban EV said in a press release. The vehicle will also be equipped with Nissan's advanced e-4ORCE all-wheel drive control system.

The picture also shows that the car's trunk is designed with a wide opening, with a rotating bench and a ladder, both for camping or enjoying the scenery.

Nissan also said it plans to make further announcements about its upcoming EV lineup on October 17 and 19, while the Tokyo Motor Show is scheduled for October 25.

The Hyper Adventure and Hyper Urban concept cars are just one of several EV concept cars Nissan plans to launch this month. The company announced last month that it plans to electrify all its new cars by 2030, in line with the EU's requirement to phase out gasoline sales by 2035. A few months ago, Nissan adopted Tesla's NACS charging standard.
