CTOnews.com reported on October 11 that Apple today launched a developer preview version of iOS / iPadOS 17.1 and a public beta version of Beta 3 update (internal version: 21B5066a) to iPhone and iPad users, seven days after the last release.

Apple adjusted the function of the Action button in the third beta version of iOS 17.1 to prevent certain actions from being triggered when the iPhone was in a pocket or bag. If the iPhone is in your pocket, the camera, flashlight, voice memo, focus and magnifying glass functions will no longer be activated when the Action button is pressed.

In addition, iOS 17.1 Beta 3 fixed an error that affected the battery life of the iPhone when paired with an Apple Watch running watchOS 10.1.

IOS 17.1 added options to collect songs, albums, playlists, artists, etc., and added favorites to the library and used to provide suggestions. You can use the "playing" widget to collect from the lock screen, and when you start the playlist, users will now see song suggestions.
