CTOnews.com October 11 news, Guo Mingyi said in the market research briefing released today, mainly MI300A, AMD AI accelerator card shipments next year will be about 10% of Nvidia (based on CoWoS).

AMD AI accelerator card next year's largest customer is Microsoft, accounting for more than 50% of shipments, followed by Amazon; in addition, Meta and Google are currently testing AMD's AI accelerator card, and it is estimated that Meta will be AMD's next CSP customer with a high probability.

CTOnews.com quoted Guo Mingyi's research report as saying that AMD's AI accelerator cards are mainly shipped to cloud solution providers (CSP). Generally speaking, CSP has excellent software features that can solve AMD's software weaknesses.

If Microsoft's partnership with AMD goes well and AMD gets orders from Meta and Google, AMD's AI chip shipments are expected to reach 30 per cent of Nvidia's (CoWoS-based) in 2025.
