CTOnews.com, October 10, Microsoft recently launched a testing service called Playwright Test, which allows developers to simply execute the Playwright testing framework on a large scale to conduct end-to-end testing of modern web App, so as to verify the reliability of applications and ensure that related applications can work properly in different scenarios.

The main features of Playwright include multi-browser support to test the behavior of applications in browsers such as Chromium, Firefox, and WebKit, and can also be used to simulate a variety of mobile devices, testing at different resolutions under a variety of UA.

Playwright can also test the behavior of applications under different network conditions. During the testing process, Playwright can take screenshots and screenshots to facilitate developers to check for errors.

Microsoft launched the Playwright Testing service, which claims to make "large-scale Playwright testing easier", allowing applications to conduct a large number of Playwright tests in different operating systems and different browsers at the same time, so as to complete the testing more quickly and speed up the delivery of related functions without sacrificing test quality.

▲ source Microsoft claims that developers who already test applications using the Playwright framework can seamlessly transfer to Microsoft's Playwright Test service if they need to go through a few configuration steps.

Microsoft said the Playwright Test service supports multiple Playwright versions and will be updated synchronously with the new version, allowing developers' applications to be tested in the latest browser version to ensure that applications remain "modern" and "secure".
