CTOnews.com October 10 news, Dongfeng Motor today announced sales results for the first nine months of 2023, which showed that Dongfeng sold 16170 vehicles in September and 4085 new energy vehicles. This year, car sales totaled 113600, an increase of 14.91 percent over the same period last year, of which 21000 new energy vehicles were sold, up 55.17 percent over the same period last year.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Dongfeng Import and Export Company exported 3980 cars in September, an increase of 84% over the same period last year. Ting exported 35081 vehicles in the January-September period, an increase of 89% over the same period last year.

In terms of brand, Fengshen brand exported 8578 vehicles from January to September, up 196% from the same period last year; Dongfeng commercial vehicles exported 9503 vehicles from January to September, up 171% from the same period last year; and Lantu brand exported 4152 vehicles from January to September, an increase of 100% over the same period last year.

BYD sold 287500 new energy vehicles in September, up 43% from a year earlier, while cumulative sales in the previous September were 2.0797 million, up 76.23% from a year earlier.

Chery sold 190000 vehicles in September, with a total sales of 1,253,000 in the first three quarters.

Geely sold 170500 cars in September, up about 31 per cent from a year earlier to an all-time high.

The delivery volume of zero-running cars reached 15800 in September, with a total of 44325 delivered in the third quarter.

The delivery of 15641 new cars in September increased by 43.8% compared with the same period last year, and the delivery of 55432 vehicles in the third quarter increased by 75.4%.

Xiaopeng delivered 15310 new cars in September, up 81 per cent from a year earlier.

Nashi delivered 13211 cars in September, and the Thai market delivered more than 10000 units.

1556 high-tech HiPhi Y models were delivered in September, an increase of 52.4% over the previous month.

Lecker sold 21859 units in September, up more than 35 per cent from a year earlier and about 17 per cent month-on-month, with new energy models accounting for 31 per cent.

Kia sold about 261000 vehicles worldwide in September, up 4.8 per cent from a year earlier.
