This image was taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO) on December 12, 2022, which is mainly used to explore the presence of water on Mars and to provide key support for landers carrying out missions on the surface of Mars.

After MRO took the photo from an altitude of 156miles (CTOnews.com Note: about 251.06 kilometers), NASA shared the blog of the University of Arizona on January 25 this year, which attracted attention.

NASA said in a blog post that Bear's nose is a V-shaped collapse structure, two eyes these are two craters, and the outer circle may be caused by sediment settling on the buried impact crater.
