In other words, the old version of "CS:GO" can still be played, but there is no official matching function, it will no longer be maintained after January 1, 2024, and subsequent problems will no longer be resolved.

CTOnews.com learned from the official announcement of the V Society that players of the DirectX 9 or 32-bit version of Windows are eligible for a Prime Status Upgrade refund if they are purchased on Steam between the "CS2" test (March 22, 2023) and the "CS2" release (September 27, 2023). Refunds are not supported for CD keys, gifts and banned accounts.

For Mac players, if most of their "CS:GO" games are played on macOS and have played "CS:GO" on Mac between the "CS2" test and the release, they will be eligible for a Prime Status Upgrade refund. Refunds are not supported for CD keys, gifts and banned accounts.

The refund period is up to December 1, 2023.
