CTOnews.com, October 10 (Xinhua)-- users of Google Pixel 6swap 7 mobile phones reported that the overheating problem was alleviated after upgrading to Android 14.

Earlier this month, Google released an Android 14 stable update for Pixel phones, and there was no mention of alleviating phone overheating in the update log.

However, according to Reddit user feedback, after the upgrade to Android 14, the Pixel 6amp 7 series phones are no longer too hot and run more smoothly, and users also have improved battery life.

CTOnews.com note: Google's Tensor G1 and Tensor G2 are made on Samsung's 5nm node, which is less efficient than TSMC-based chips. By contrast, the Snapdragon 8 + Gen1 and Gen 2 chipsets are based on TSMC 4nm nodes and operate at much lower temperatures.
