When it comes to what the iPhone might look like in the next 20-30 years, Cook unsurprisingly stressed that iPhone would be carbon-neutral:

I think it will be carbon neutral. Obviously, it will be far ahead of current products, but I don't want to reveal our secrets in this respect to you. I can only say that from an environmental point of view, it will be carbon neutral.

After last month's iPhone 15 event, some questioned whether Apple's so-called "green" statement was "green", while Cook refuted it directly:

Well, the act of greening is reprehensible. So, what if you think about what we're doing, what we're doing, and then talk about what we're doing, and you're part of the work today?
