According to CTOnews.com news on October 10, Guo Mingyi released a summary of market expectations today, believing that Tesla's Cybertruck electric pickup truck will begin delivery by the end of this year at the earliest. It is estimated that shipments will reach 100-200 this year, 10-120000 next year, and 24-260000 in 2025.

Guo Mingyi believes that the competitive advantage of Cybertruck's innovative design, including aerodynamics, is expected to last until 2030, meaning that the newly designed Cybertruck 2 may not begin to ship until after 2030.

Before Tesla launched the second-generation Cybertruck, he would constantly upgrade the specifications and configuration while keeping the original Cybertruck design unchanged.

Guo Mingyi believes that the significant contribution of Cybertruck to Tesla's revenue and profit growth in the next few years is obvious, and this contribution will not be affected by seasonality and recession in the foreseeable future.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Tesla did not hold a Cybertruck delivery event in the third quarter of 2023, as Musk had hoped. In fact, this is not the first time Cybertruck has delayed. The electric pickup was released in 2019 and production was originally scheduled to start in 2021.

According to the Wall Street Journal, more than half a million people have ordered the truck by 2020, and the latest figure is close to 2 million, and each person needs to pay a deposit of about $100.
