Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com October 10 news, developer M1 Astra recently dug into visionOS Beta 4 code to confirm that Apple Vision Pro header display supports the highest 100Hz refresh rate and can switch between 100Hz, 96Hz and 90Hz modes.
The "PASSTHROUGH_50HZ_FLICKER_DETECTED" option is mentioned in the code about 100Hz, and it is inferred from the content of the code that Vision Pro will not switch to 100Hz in the default scene, and will provide supplementary support only if a strobe of 50Hz is detected in an outdoor artificial lighting environment.
CTOnews.com previously reported that the default refresh rate for Apple's Vision Pro headers is 90Hz, but when watching 24 frames of movie content, the display will be raised to the 96Hz refresh rate, reducing possible frame jitter at the default refresh rate.
Apple's newly released Vision Pro headset is basically top-of-the-line in terms of hardware specifications, with two 4K resolution screens with a total number of 23 million pixels. However, Apple did not mention the relevant screen refresh rate parameters, saying only that the delay for the entire system is about 12 milliseconds.
