Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

According to CTOnews.com news on October 9, photographer Dai Jianfeng @ Jeff posted on Weibo today that @ Vision China illegally sold my photos without my permission and claimed compensation from me. I have filed a lawsuit with the Tianjin Heping District people's Court to protect my legitimate rights and interests through legal channels. " The picture shows that the Tianjin Heping District people's Court filed a case on October 8, 2023.

In August this year, photographer Dai Jianfeng posted that his use of his work had been informed of infringement by Vision China, which attracted widespread attention, and CTOnews.com also carried out a follow-up report.

15:44 on August 15, Dai Jianfeng (Weibo: Jeff's Star Journey), a member of the China Exploration Association and the first contracted photographer, posted about his encounter with Vision China's "outrageous" claim:

Vision China informed Dai Jianfeng that his official account used 173 photos in infringement and had to compensate Vision China for more than 80,000 yuan.

Dai Jianfeng found that a total of 173 photos of the so-called infringing works sent by Vision China are Dai Jianfeng's own photographic works. On the other hand, Dai Jianfeng has never worked with Vision China-- no contract with Vision China, no authorization to Vision China, no upload of Vision China Gallery, and now he is absurdly claiming losses by Vision China.

As a result, Dai Jianfeng publicly @ Vision China, asking for a reasonable explanation. And questioned Vision China, where did you illegally obtain these photos for illegal sale? How much illegal income has been obtained? With these photos, how many companies have been sued and how many illegal profits have been obtained?

20:55 on August 15, after the ferment of public opinion and collective condemnation, Visual China issued a statement on its official Weibo:

"with regard to the copyright images between our company and photographer @ Jeff's star tour on Weibo, we attach great importance to it. We immediately learned about the situation and got in touch with the parties concerned."

"after preliminary verification, the photographer authorized the picture library Stocktrek Images to sell, and Stocktrek Images authorized the relevant images to Getty Images for sale. Visual China, as the exclusive partner of Getty Images in Chinese mainland region, has complete sales rights, including the pictures involved, and the sales authorization chain of the pictures involved is clear and complete."

"We will continue to communicate with photographers and properly handle relevant misunderstandings."

9:40 on August 16, Dai Jianfeng continued to condemn his infringement in response to Vision China's statement:

I don't accept your point of view. I have checked with Stocktrek, and Stocktrek explicitly informed me that @ Vision China has no right to sell my work, nor does it have any copyright in my work. Getty also has no right to transfer my work again. There is no misunderstanding here. Up to now, you are still illegally selling my work on the Internet, lying to me and others that you own the copyright of the work and claim for compensation. Please stop your infringement immediately! "

On the same day, Hualong net reporter called Stocktrek company. The company said:

The @ Vision China representative called the company an hour ago, and the company explicitly informed that Dai Jianfeng's related works need to be deleted from the Vision China website. For the next step of the plan, the staff told reporters that the Getty platform will also contact Vision China to remove Dai Jianfeng's works.

Subsequently, the vision of China off the shelves related pictures.

12:12 on August 18, Dai Jianfeng posted on Weibo that he had received death threats, but said he would continue to protect his legitimate rights and interests:

"I just received a private message threatening to kill my family if I don't apologize to Vision China. Now I have called the police! I will protect my legitimate rights and interests in accordance with the law!"

Visual China quickly followed up with comments after Dai Jianfeng posted the article:

We support @ Jeff's Star Journey alarm, oppose anyone using the Internet to make personal threats, and do not support any irrational words or actions.

At 15:22 on August 18, the China Exploration Association issued a statement on official account, saying: support member and contracted photographer Dai Jianfeng to protect the rights of Vision China in accordance with the law.
