CTOnews.com, October 9, Beijing Auto New Energy and Japan's TURING signed a letter of intent to provide high-end intelligent driving products for the Japanese market, and will explore the commercial landing of self-driving technology in the Japanese market in the future.

According to the official account of polar fox, the first joint model between the two sides is based on polar fox alpha S, which is intelligently modified by TURING to meet the travel needs of the Japanese market, and plans to enter the Japanese market in 2024.

It is understood that TURING was founded on August 20, 2021, and plans to produce 10,000 fully autonomous electric vehicles in 2030 to become a vehicle manufacturer. At present, the total financing has reached 1.52 billion yen (CTOnews.com Note: about 74.48 million yuan).

2023: set up your own factory, produce 100 cars and open a Tokyo office

2025: the factory is set up to deliver 100 cars

2027: start mass production of fully autonomous electric vehicles

2030: 10,000 fully automatic electric vehicles are produced and put on the market

It is worth mentioning that polar fox launched the advance version of the polar fox alpha S model on May 19, with a price of 329800 yuan.

Compared with the previous version, the advance version has been fine-tuned to locate the Pure Electric medium-sized sedan, the main difference is that the front face is equipped with three lidars, and the rest of the configuration has not changed much, equipped with Huawei Hongmeng OS system.
