Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--

CTOnews.com October 9, Microsoft released the September 26 update of Windows 11 on September 26, which includes a new feature: Windows Copilot. This is an intelligent assistant based on artificial intelligence, which can interact with various applications and functions of Windows, including Microsoft Office, drawing, photos, Windows settings and so on. Copilot is part of Bing Chat and is driven by a large language model (LLMs) developed by ChatGPT and Microsoft itself. However, Copilot is not available to all users and is currently available only to users in the United States (and North America), the United Kingdom, and some Asian and South American countries.

Microsoft said Copilot could not provide services in Europe for the time being because of privacy regulations in Europe, but the company promised to expand its support for Copilot in the future. "the initial market for Copilot's preview version of Windows includes North America, the UK, as well as some Asian and South American countries. We plan to add more markets in the future." Microsoft officials clarified in a statement.

CTOnews.com notes that Copilot has been integrated into all versions of the Windows 11 Moment 4 update, but if the user is in a region that does not support Copilot, it may not be visible in the taskbar or settings.

Copilot is actually Bing Chat running on Windows 11, and the current experience in a WebView interface powered by Microsoft Edge is not ideal and does not support more in-depth Windows integration or support for third-party applications and plug-ins, but Microsoft says the artificial intelligence tool will eventually get better.
