BYD dolphins went on sale in Brazil on June 30, and more than 5000 dolphins have been sold in less than four months, CTOnews.com reported on October 8. Recently, BYD launched a dolphin special version in Brazil-BYD dolphin PLUS version and BYD dolphin DIAMOND version.

CTOnews.com learned from official information, BYD dolphin PLUS version of the maximum torque of 310Nm, full battery mileage up to 490km (NEDC), added two-color car paint option and panoramic skylight; equipped with BYD intelligent cockpit system, equipped with 12.8inch rotatable multimedia screen, support for intelligent voice control, CarPlay,Android Auto and mobile phone remote control and other functions, but also has VTOL mobile charging station function.

The BYD dolphin PLUS version sells for 179800 reais (about RMB 255000), with four two-color car paints to choose from: surf blue + dolphin gray, Delanite + Atlantis gray, afterglow powder + dolphin ash, ski white + dolphin gray.

The BYD dolphin DIAMOND version uses pure black car paint and has the same configuration and performance as the previously released BYD dolphin, which can drive 405km (NEDC) at full charge. Under fast charging conditions, it takes only 30 minutes to charge 30% to 80%. Also equipped with BYD intelligent cockpit system and BYD intelligent driving system, the official price is 149800 reais (about 212500 yuan).

So far, BYD has set up 30 dealers' offline stores in Brazil and expects to open 100 stores by the end of this year.
