Only from the start of the charge to the end of the pure charging time (excluding the order sweep code pull gun plug settlement, does not include queuing up, does not include changing piles in case of problems), it takes about 30 to 40 minutes for Weilai users to charge on the Weilai pile, and 50 to 60 minutes for several mainstream extended range vehicles on the Lulai pile. This means that the charge of an extended car is twice as slow as that of pure electricity.

Some technical personages pointed out that the extended range vehicle belongs to the hybrid electric vehicle, its power source includes not only the battery, but also the engine. However, it is possible that the battery capacity is relatively small, the charging rate is relatively low, and the charging capacity is also relatively low at the same time, resulting in lower charging efficiency than pure trams.

The technician also said that with the improvement of pure tram technology and service guarantee, mileage anxiety is no longer a problem, including car-electricity separation, power exchange and optimization of charging current introduced by car companies, which eliminate mileage anxiety to a large extent.

In addition, Shen Fei pointed out that power replacement is far ahead of the energy replenishment scheme for long-distance travel of electric vehicles, which saves too much time compared to charging. For example, during the National Day holiday, when the number of long-distance travel and power exchange increased significantly, the average full-journey power change time of Lulai users was almost the same as usual, about 9 to 10 minutes; the amount of high-speed power exchange orders was about 4 times that of the usual, but the whole change time was still less than 12 minutes.
