The results show that the storage inventory adjustment of customers in various fields is nearly completed, and the semiconductor industry will rebound in an all-round way from 2024. Samsung expects supply shortages of DRAM and NAND Flash in some areas from 2024.

A Samsung executive at Tuyuan Pexels mentioned that a large number of semiconductor companies have gradually completed inventory adjustments, and losses in the NAND business are expected to be significantly reduced.

People in the securities industry said that given the gradual stabilization of inventories, customers have begun to accept Samsung's request for a price increase, and it is expected that from the fourth quarter, the improvement in supply and demand in the storage market and the upward trend in prices will show at the same time.

DigiTimes pointed out that as the Singles Day promotion entered the warm-up stage, the willingness of downstream manufacturers to prepare goods increased, especially driven by the monthly rise in NAND Flash quotations, SSD manufacturers began to prepare for replenishment, and the market is expected to return to the same period in 2021.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, storage manufacturers finally see hope for a recovery in the DRAM market after the longest decline in history. According to TrendForce analysts, NAND flash prices will continue to rise in the fourth quarter, estimated to grow by about 3 to 8 per cent, higher than the initial forecast of 0 to 5 per cent.
