The fastest travel time between Guiyang East and Guilin North to Guangzhou South Railway Station will be reduced to 3 hours 39 minutes and 1 hour 59 minutes respectively, which is 31 minutes and 23 minutes lower than that before upgrading.

The fastest travel time of cross-line trains between Chengdu East and Chongqing West to Guangzhou South Railway Station will be reduced to 6 hours, 56 minutes and 5 hours and 43 minutes respectively, 46 minutes and 54 minutes respectively.
