According to analysis, Huaxing Optoelectronics hopes to make medium and large OLED panels for televisions and monitors, which coincides with JOLED's previous business. While Huaxing Optoelectronics currently makes OLED for smartphones, "there is no solution for medium and large panels."

JOLED began operating in January 2015 and integrates the organic EL display development departments of Sony and Panasonic with the aim of mass production and commercialization of organic EL displays. In November 2019, the production line of printed organic EL display was put into production at Nengmei factory, mainly producing medium-sized display screens for medical and vehicle use. JOLED, an inkjet printing OLED panel manufacturer, reported the news of a financial crisis in August 2022.
