CTOnews.com October 7 news, Ziguang Zhanrui announced today that the 5G mobile platforms T820, T770, T760, T750 and 4G platforms T619, T616, T612, T606 and SC9863A have completed the simultaneous upgrade of Android 14.

According to officials, Ziguang has simplified the steps for OEM and ODM manufacturers to upgrade to the latest version of the Android operating system, greatly reducing overall project costs and resource investment, and making system upgrades more efficient and faster. The Android upgrade support framework of Ziguang Zhanrui chip platform is jointly maintained and upgraded by Zhan Rui and Google. OEM and ODM customers can upgrade the latest version of Android OS system by simply changing the upper framework based on the code update package provided by Zhan Rui, and the upgrade cycle is at least one month shorter than before. As part of the partnership with Google, starting with Android 13, all mobile platforms of Ziguang Zhanrui can support four Android OS versions and provide four-year security upgrades.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, Google announced the official launch of Android 14 for Pixel devices on October 4, which has been launched on Google Pixel 4a (5G) and newer models. Android 14 brings better privacy protection, smarter notification management, and more topic options.

Ziguang Zhanrui said that based on Android14, new features such as efficient performance framework, intelligent task management and network VIP mode have been added, and underlying technologies such as CPU, storage and interface have been innovated and optimized. Compared with the previous generation version, the performance of some user scenarios has been improved by more than 20%. Android 14 (Go edition) simplifies some features to make the phone more secure, stable and smooth after the upgrade.
