CTOnews.com Oct. 7-Atari launched the Atari 2600 in 1977, with Pac-Man and E.T. The most popular games, such as the game, became popular in that year and became the representative console of the second generation of video games. Fifteen years after its release, Atari discontinued production of the Atari 2600 in 1992.

Although it has been discontinued for 30 years, Atari recently announced the launch of a new physical game cassette for the Atari 2600 console, Save Mary, which is currently available for pre-sale (limited to 500 copies) for $59.99 (CTOnews.com Note: Currently about 439 yuan) and is expected to ship within 3-4 months.

It is understood that "Save Mary" began development as early as the golden age of Atari 2600, and was later shelved due to the Great Depression of the US game industry in 1983.

The game was created by Atari's lead programmer Tod Frye, best known for developing version 2600 of Pac-Man. In the game, the player uses a crane to lower different blocks, piecing together a platform on which Mary can safely stand and avoid falling into the abyss.
