CTOnews.com, October 6 (Xinhua)-- with the upcoming release of Intel Core 14-generation desktop processors, new Z790 motherboards from motherboard manufacturers are also on the market, most of them equipped with the latest Wi-Fi 7 wireless network cards. "kuroberu" today exposed the Wi-Fi 7 solutions of several manufacturers' Z790 motherboards.

As shown above, the new Z790 motherboard uses the Wi-Fi 7 solutions of Qualcomm NCM865, MediaTek MT7927 / RZ738 and Intel BE200 / BE202. Among them, MSI's new Z790 motherboard all adopts Qualcomm scheme, Asustek model adopts Intel scheme, and gigabyte Z790 series all have three solutions.

In terms of parameters, Qualcomm, MediaTek and Intel's Wi-Fi 7 program can reach a maximum speed of 5.8Gbps. Intel B202 wireless network card only supports the 160MHz band, the maximum speed is 2.4Gbps.

According to previous reports from CTOnews.com, the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology officially released a notice on June 1 to solicit the opinions of the State Radio Office on the approval of technical requirements and testing methods for new models of wireless LAN equipment using IEEE 802.11be technology standards. The relevant Wi-Fi 7 standards are expected to be launched soon, when a large wave of Wi-Fi 7 products will be put on the market.
