According to CTOnews.com on October 6, Shima announced yesterday that the new 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports lens will be released in December 2023, with optional L and E ports. Now, Shima's French official website has accidentally leaked some of the parameters of this lens.
As shown in the image above, this lens uses 15 groups of 20 (3 aspheric, 6 FLD, 2SLD) design, 205mm long, 90.6mm in diameter, 1335 g weight of E-bayonet, 1345 g of L-bayonet version, and filter size 77mm.
Shima officials say the 70-200mm F2.8 DG DN OS | Sports is a large-aperture zoom lens suitable for full-frame non-reflective cameras. In addition to the imaging expressiveness brought by the latest optical design, the lens provides a high level of performance and functionality to meet the professional needs of both static and video shooting. The lens uses HLA "high-speed linear motor", provides high-speed and accurate autofocus, carries a new optical anti-shake algorithm "OS2", and has the consistent all-weather protection performance of the SIGMA Sports series.
