CTOnews.com, October 6 (Xinhua) Samsung has been working to improve its Tizen-based game streaming platform, called Samsung Game Hub. It was launched at the consumer electronics show in 2022 and has continued to grow ever since.

The number of games supported by Samsung Game Hub has increased by 300% since last year, the company revealed today at the SDC23 Samsung developer conference.

CTOnews.com note: Samsung Game Hub itself is not a cloud gaming service, it is a discovery platform that brings together cloud gaming services, allowing players to access game streaming services on Samsung products without any additional hardware.

For example, users with Samsung smart TVs or smart monitors can access Xbox Game Pass streaming services directly from Samsung Game Hub. Other supported streaming services include Amazon Luna, Antstream Arcade, Blacknut, Nvidia GeForce Now and Utomik.

Gaming Hub also provides support for game consoles, which are compatible with Sony DualSense and DualShock 4 handles, Microsoft Xbox handles, and Xbox Adaptive handles.

Samsung Game Hub is supported by the Tizen platform. When discussing Tizen improvements in today's keynote speech, Samsung confirmed that the games supported by Gaming Hub have now exceeded the 3000 mark, an increase of 300% over last year.
