At today's SDC23 Samsung developer conference, the company announced that it will introduce Tizen to more devices, including household appliances with a 7-inch screen. It also details an innovative AI solution that will make these devices smarter.

According to reports, Tizen is expanding to more devices, including household appliances with a 7-inch screen, such as smart thermostats. However, smaller devices do not have the computing power needed to support AI.

Samsung's solution to this limitation is Home AI Edge technology. CTOnews.com according to Samsung's official introduction, household appliances with lower computing power can use Home AI Edge to request AI services from devices with stronger computing resources, such as more powerful CPU and NPU.

This means that if a smaller device cannot complete all the processes on its own, it can simply request another more powerful device at home to complete the service.
