In terms of specific progress, the official manuscript revealed that the project is in the early stages of development and is currently looking for a screenwriter. According to reports, this film and television work will tell a brand-new story based on Cyberpunk 2077, and the follow-up progress will continue to be made public.

Anonymous Content is an independent global media company that has produced Emmy Award-winning series such as True Detective and The Hackers and Oscar winning films such as The Reaper and Spotlight. At present, the company is broadcasting series including "Holy Cross,""Xiangtalan" and so on. As part of the partnership, CDPR will work directly with Anonymous Content's TV director Garret Kemble, development director Ryan Schwartz and chief creative officer David Levine.
