CTOnews.com, Oct. 5 (Xinhua)-- Apple is expected to release new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro models with "more energy-efficient" mini-LED displays by the end of the year, according to Taiwanese media Digitimes.

Apple is expected to launch related 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro devices in the fourth quarter of 2023, and the overall display brightness of the new MacBook Pro has increased by 10%, allowing it to consume less power at the same brightness than previous products, according to Digitimes, a Taiwanese media outlet.

CTOnews.com found that Digitimes's report was roughly the same as Bloomberg's Mark Gurman story, and Mark Gurman had hinted that Apple might only announce the launch of Mac products directly through a press release in October, rather than holding a big launch event like iPhone.

As far as I know, the process of this year's launch will be the same as that of the iPhone 14 launch, where Apple will still play pre-recorded videos, as well as a launch in October-possibly the first M3 Mac-but it is not clear whether this will be positioned as an official launch event.

However, Tianfeng International analyst Guo Mingyi has a different story, according to which the relevant MacBook Pro model is expected to be released next year.
