It is reported that the relevant responses include "thumbs up", "love", "fireworks", "smiley faces", "various gestures" and so on. CTOnews.com learned after inquiry that Google said this feature was gradually being rolled out to clients on the Android platform, while the iOS platform would have to wait for some time.

Google claims that "using the Emoji emoji in your Gmail email is as simple as a user reacting to an 'instant message' sent by someone else", and that the Emoji emoji response is actually "a convenient way to respond with an emoticon response rather than a complex manual response".

Google also said that if users' Gmail accounts are "work or school accounts", they cannot send emoji responses, and emails sent by these "work or school accounts" are replied to the corresponding accounts as "separate emails" if they are "emotionally responded" by other users.
