CTOnews.com, Oct. 4 (Xinhua)-- Samsung has officially released its new wireless headset product, Galaxy Buds FE, which costs $99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 724 yuan) and has the same positioning as the just-released Galaxy S23 FE.

The headset features a unique shark fin shape and provides three different sizes of silicone earplugs and two additional wingtips to better fit the user's ear. Like smart headphones, users can tap and touch the Galaxy Buds FE surface to control a variety of functions.

Functionally, the product is equipped with a single drive unit with three microphones for each headset, of which two external microphones and one internal one are used to provide active noise reduction (ANC). In addition, the product also supports ambient sound mode, which is used to perceive the surrounding environment without taking off the headphones.

In terms of battery life, after turning on ANC active noise reduction, the headset lasts for 6 hours, and when used with a charging box, the battery life can be extended to 21 hours. After the ANC active noise reduction is turned off, the battery life of the headset is 8.5 hours, and the battery life with the charging box is 30 hours.

If users join the Samsung ecosystem, Galaxy Buds FE can quickly pair up with a single click. Headphones also support automatic switching between Galaxy devices, as long as users log in to the same Samsung account on the device.

The Galaxy Buds FE, which costs $99 (currently about 724 yuan), will be available for purchase through specific overseas carriers from Oct. 5 and online from Samsung from Oct. 10. CTOnews.com will also keep an eye on when this product will be launched in the domestic market.
