The machine weighs 159g and measures 153x71x 8.4mm. It adopts aluminum integrated design and IP68 dustproof and waterproof grade. The battery capacity is increased to 5000mAh (the previous generation is 4570mAh).

Sharp AQUOS sense8 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. Compared with sense7's Snapdragon 695, the official test CPU speed is 36% faster and 33% faster. The machine is equipped with 6GB memory and 128GB storage space, which can be extended to 1TB through microSD card.

With a 6.1in IGZO OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2432, a screen brightness of up to 1300 nits, a 1-90Hz variable refresh rate and support for "black frame insertion", the machine claims to extend the experience to 180Hz, compared with the previous generation's 60Hz screen.

In terms of images, the machine's main camera (1ax 1.55 ") is equipped with a 50MP sensor with 1.0 μ m pixels and supports pixel merging to 2.0 μ m. The machine does not have a telephoto camera, but the main camera supports native 2x zoom, adding OIS optical anti-shake compared to the previous generation. Another camera on the fuselage is the 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.

Sharp AQUOS sense8 is equipped with microSD slot, 3.5mm headphone Jack and USB-C port. The charging time listed in the official specification is 160min. There is no wireless charging.

In addition, this is a dual SIM card phone with nano-SIM and eSIM, which supports 5G (2.1Gbps) and WiMAX 2 + (WiMAX is still popular in Japan). Other wireless connections include Wi-Fi 5 (ac), Bluetooth 5.1 and NFC, as well as side fingerprints.
