According to dota2.prizetrac statistics, the prize pool of the 2023 DOTA2 International Invitational is currently only 2.724 million US dollars (currently about 19.885 million yuan), a decrease of 70.9 percent compared with about 9.35 million US dollars in the same period of the 2022 DOTA2 International Invitational tournament. That figure was the worst for the same period in the past eight years.

In other words, the prize pool of the 2023 DOTA2 International Invitational will hardly exceed 6 million US dollars. This figure will also set a new low in the bonus pool for the International Invitational tournament since TI3.

CTOnews.com noted that the prize pool for the Riyadh Masters, which ended in July, was as high as $15 million (currently about 109 million yuan).

This year's TI is divided into two major stages: the road of the international invitational tournament and the international invitational tournament, which includes the group stage and the knockout stage, and the international invitational tournament is the final eight.

The group stage will be held on October 12-15, and the teams will be divided into four groups, each of which will be eliminated directly. The remaining 16 teams in the second half of the group stage will compete according to their previous record rankings to decide which teams will enter the winner group of the knockout stage.

The knockout stage will be held on October 20-22 at the Summit Building of the Seattle Convention Center. All competitions will be BO3. Four teams will be selected for the winners and losers of the International Invitational tournament.

The final international invitational tournament will be held at the Climate Manifesto Arena from October 27 to 29, with four BO3 games each on Friday and Saturday, and a showdown between the three top teams on Sunday-first the loser group final and finally the BO5 finals.
