According to the Russian "News", the Russian State Duma (Russian Federation Council State Duma, referred to as the State Duma, which belongs to Russia's permanent legislative body, similar to the House of Commons, which is mainly responsible for drafting and enacting national laws) purchased 1800 copies of similar domestic products that can replace the Windows operating system and Office office suite for parliamentarians, a message confirmed by Stanislav Darchinov, technical director of Step Logic, the license provider.

Sources revealed that the State Duma bought Astra Linux instead of Windows, and purchased "Moyofis" software packages instead of Microsoft Office. We are talking about a permanent license, which has a three-year deadline to receive updates.

According to the information published on the Russian State Procurement Portal, the specific purchase amount of the State Duma is about 52.5 million rubles. Of this amount, about 2310 million roubles were used for the purchase of 1800 "Moyofis" licenses and 2930 million roubles for the purchase of Astra Linux licenses. According to the tender documents, only bids from Step Logic have been received for this tender.
