According to reports, the name "Shiyue" was decided by netizens' name and vote. Officials said that the representative "picked up the bright moon", symbolizing "dedication and pursuit of life, simplicity and love of life, harvest and gratitude" and other meanings.

In the "announcement of Road Motor vehicle Manufacturing Enterprises and products" (batch 375) published by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology last month, the new car was declared under the name of "pickup month".

From the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology data, the new car length, width and height are 3360/1700/1605mm, wheelbase 2160mm, from the appearance is a two-door four-seat car. The outline of the new car follows the "square box" style of Hongguang MINI EV and other similar products, but uses a suspended roof design, as well as a personalized C-column and hidden door handles.

In terms of power, the new car provides two different power motors, 35kW and 40kW, with a maximum speed of 100km/h. Lithium iron phosphate batteries produced by Jiangsu Times and Guoxuan Hi-Tech are available. The CLTC mileage is divided into 155km, 210km and 301km.
