CTOnews.com news on October 2, Ningde Times announced today that Chengdu Xinjin Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xinjin Times"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Ningde Times, has recently been awarded the PAS2060 carbon neutralization certification issued by SGS, officially joining the ranks of zero-carbon factories and becoming the fourth zero-carbon factory in Ningde era.

With the upgrading of the Xinjin era to a "zero-carbon factory", the Ningde era goes further to the zero-carbon strategic goal of "achieving carbon neutralization of core operations by 2025 and carbon neutralization of the whole value chain by 2035".

According to CTOnews.com inquiry, Xinjin era, located in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, began mass production in July 2021.

In the aspect of green manufacturing, the central control management system of digital production has been built in Xinjin era, and the global visual management can greatly reduce the process loss; the AI visual inspection system can automatically learn and extract defect features and improve the detection rate in die-cutting, slitting, winding and other links.

At the same time, the Xinjin era carries on the electric transformation to the logistics chain, and widely uses the electric means of transport to realize the zero-carbon operation from the supply chain to the production to the user. In terms of energy use, the Xinjin era all adopted hydropower renewable energy to provide clean energy for production and manufacturing.

In March this year, Ningde-era Sichuan-era Yibin factory became the world's first zero-carbon battery factory. In just six months, Ningde Times has four factories on the list of zero-carbon factories.
