Although NACFE did not specify the payload for the day, it said the average load on these trucks was more than 70000 pounds. Tesla Semi needs to stop and recharge three times a day, and according to the test drawings, the car can be transported normally when it is full of cola drinks.

Tesla has delivered only a small number of Semi electric trucks, most of which may have been given to PepsiCo, the first company to order Tesla's Semi five and a half years ago, and Tesla began delivering the Semi in early December 2022. PepsiCo may have received 36 of the 100 Semi ordered by now, according to a recall issued by NHTSA in June: 15 at its subsidiary Frito-Lay 's plant in Modesto, Calif., and 21 at its main location, Sacramento.

PepsiCo previously confirmed in a video that four Tesla chargers were installed at the Sacramento site, each with a charging power of 750kW and capable of charging 80 per cent of the battery in less than 45 minutes. It is also mentioned in the video that Semi can be charged from 5-10% to 95% in 20 to 30 minutes.
