In this operation, the "Offshore Oil 720" deepwater geophysical exploration ship successively placed 10 cables more than 8 kilometers long in the "Haijing" system into the sea water, and completed 2500 sea surface towing cable collection operations along the route, real-time seismic data acquisition of seismic sources and detection points.

Ruan fuming, chief engineer of equipment research and development of Haijing, pointed out: compared with imported equipment, the seismic data collected by Haijing has a higher degree of recognition, can penetrate a water depth of 3000 meters, and finely depict the complex geological structure of a layer of 10,000 meters. the overall performance of the equipment meets the current needs of offshore oil exploration.

The Haijing system breaks through the sinking depth limit of 22 meters of imported equipment, realizes a full range of conventional spacing coverage, has the ability to collect 2 Hz ultra-low frequency frequency signals, and greatly improves the accuracy and data quality of marine seismic exploration.
