CTOnews.com, October 1 (Xinhua)-- Nick International Children's Channel has announced that SpongeBob, a classic animated series, will be renewed for its 15th season and will celebrate its 25th anniversary next year.

SpongeBob, which began broadcasting in July 1999, is currently broadcast in more than 50 countries and regions around the world and has its dubbing version. It is currently the longest-lived program on Nick Channel and the longest-lived animation of Nick Cartoon. It has been the channel's most watched animation series for 21 years in a row.

According to the TV station, SpongeBob, which has 26 episodes in season 15, will "discover greater sailing adventures", including "SpongeBob thinks he is allergic to kangaroos" and "ruffian bosses learn Sandy's personal defenses".
