A sales representative responsible for distributing Canon lenses to certain retailers in specific countries mentioned the RF 35mm f / 1.2L USM and said two versions of the fixed-focus lens would be released by the end of 2023.

They believe that if the Canon RF 35mm F1.2L USM is released, it is likely to become the best-selling L-fixed-focus lens. In fact, rumors about the lens have been heard from time to time since the launch of the RF card five years ago, and now it looks like it should be released before the end of the year.

Of course, this is the first time we've heard about the double version, so we don't know the details of the shot yet.

Referring to Canon's previous dual version of the RF85mm F1.2L USM lens, the new 35mm lens is also expected to have a "smooth defocus" version, or DS, which may cost hundreds more than the normal model.
