CTOnews.com, September 30, according to teslarati, Tesla broke ground on the most comprehensive supercharging station-a drive-in cinema-restaurant, with two movie screens, a restaurant and electric car charging posts.

CTOnews.com learned from reports that the project was approved in late August and is planned to be built in Hollywood on Santa Monica Avenue at 7001 W. Santa Monica Boulevard, West Hollywood, CA.

Tesla has been exploring the possibility of building a drive-in theater and restaurant for years. The project was first launched in 2017, and Musk says he hopes to turn the idea into a reality, providing a unique super-charging experience for drivers. Pictures from the Internet show that the project is in its early stages.

It is understood that Tesla submitted his application in November 2022. Eight months later, the plan was approved by the city of Los Angeles and a license was issued on July 18, 2023. On August 9, the preliminary grading inspection was completed and approved, so Tesla basically got the green light to finally push forward the project.

The architect of the project is Stantec Architecture, headquartered in Chandler, Arizona, and the contractor is PCL Construction Services Inc., which is headquartered in Glendale, California.
