CTOnews.com, September 30 (Xinhua)-- time magazine and Statista have produced a list of the best companies in the world in 2023. Microsoft won the top spot with a score of 96.46 (out of 100).

Time magazine based on revenue, employee satisfaction surveys and rigorous environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG, or sustainability) data, Microsoft's performance is excellent in all aspects.

The magazine said Microsoft's revenue in its most recent fiscal year was $72 billion, which meant an increase of 63 per cent from 2020 and a 0.5 per cent reduction in emissions from the tech giant.

Microsoft also creates a better working environment for women, ethnic minorities and non-ferrous employees, and Microsoft ranks highest in employee satisfaction among all companies.
