Health features: Pixel Watch 2 will also use Fitbit's stress management system, which will use body response tracking to detect user stress. Users will be prompted to record their current emotions and give suggestions for intervention, such as guided breathing exercises or walks. Google will use body response tracking inputs from cEDA (continuous dermatoelectric activity-tiny sweat beads) to help detect stress.

Fitness function: Pixel Watch 2 can identify seven common sports, including running and outdoor cycling, and will send automatic exercise start and stop reminders for these exercises. Another fitness function is pace training, which can control the user's pace.

Security features: Google has upgraded security features on Pixel Watch 2. "Security check" allows users to set a timer for certain situations. After the timer ends, the watch prompts users to confirm whether they are okay or if they want to start sharing their location or contact emergency services. If there is no response, the watch will trigger "emergency sharing" to share the real-time location and situation with the emergency contact. Emergency sharing can also be used separately with contacts so that they can know your real-time location and enable sharing "medical information" with emergency services.

Battery life: the Pixel Watch 2 is said to provide 24-hour battery life with a constant display and a full day in 75 minutes. Compared with Pixel Watch, battery life remains the same.
