The C919 completed its final assembly on November 2, 2015, successfully made its maiden flight on May 5, 2017, received a model certificate issued by the Civil Aviation Administration of China on September 29, 2022, delivered the world's first aircraft on December 9, 2022, and successfully completed its first commercial flight on May 28, 2023.
