On September 28, domestic independent research and development GPU chip design leader Chu Core pupil (Sietium) and the well-known old graphics card factory brand-Jingyu jointly announced that the two sides have reached a strategic partnership to carry out all-round and in-depth cooperation. The partnership marks the first time that China's domestic GPU chips have been certified by mainstream graphics card manufacturers, which is of landmark significance. At the same time, it is also announced that the second generation of home-made GPU (graphics processor)-GB2062, which is independently developed by Core pupil, has successfully realized marketization, which is also the first domestic multi-screen display product matrix jointly launched by both sides, which will take the lead in meeting traffic and shipping, mining energy, educational demonstrations, financial securities, security monitoring, industrial production guidelines, cultural digital exhibitions, commercial finance and tax offices and other multi-screen display application scenarios.

It is understood that Jingyu ™, founded in 1982, is a renowned graphics card innovation solution brand with a glorious history of more than 40 years. It was once the chief T1AIC of nvidia and ranked among the top three brands in global N card sales. Later, due to the shift of business focus from the consumer side of the channel to the customized market of the industry, and with the technical precipitation of the industry research team for more than 40 years, it once created innovation and led the development trend of industrial control and MXM embedded graphics card products, and successfully opened up a new segment field of graphics cards-multi-screen graphics cards in 2016, and became the market leader of this level. It can be used in embedded computing and devices, office computers and display devices for customized scenes. This conference is based on the board-level products made by the second generation of self-developed GPU-GB2062, which has more cross-era significance than the first generation.

According to the cooperative development strategy of core pupil and Jingyu, aiming at the latter's successful board-level market experience of multi-screen merchant display, industrial display control, industry customization and channel consumption application, based on the second generation GB2062GPU chip, four multi-screen graphics cards are first launched, which is the first multi-screen display concept card product matrix in the field of domestic graphics cards in China, which also represents that the core pupil has officially entered the market landing application stage. The first batch of new products on the market are GB20624HDMI mini, GB20624HDMI LP, GB20622HDMI LP and GB20622HV LP.

Four multi-screen graphics card products are built around dual-screen and four-screen application scenarios, led by Jingyu team. Nearly 200 mainstream graphics card solutions for multi-screen applications have been developed, which can be called a leader in the industry. The GB2062 multi-screen series graphics card is the first to use all-native HDMI2.0 HD direct output design, plug and play, without the need for transfer signal more stable, and provides 2 × HDMI, 4 × HDMI, HDMI+VGA three display output options and LP half-height single width, LP half-height double width, ITX full-height single-width version optional, to meet the needs of a variety of system environment.

It is worth mentioning that the second generation of GPU-GB2062, which took three years to build, was actually released in June 2023, and its architecture design is based on independent research and development, safety and reliability, stronger functions and higher performance ratio to meet the needs of domestic popularization.

GB2062 follows the core pupil self-developed "Kai Ming"-graphics rendering architecture, built-in 1152 stream processing cores, excellent 3D rendering performance, with 1.3TFlops floating-point computing power can be used for intensive computing tasks, can be equipped with high-performance and low-power LPDDR4 and DDR4 memory, the maximum capacity can be expanded to 32GB, memory width up to 256bit, native support for faster PCIe4.0 graphics bus technology, 10W ultra-low power consumption, technical parameters are quite outstanding.

Another highlight of GB2062 is that it has 6 native independent display channels, which is the only domestic GPU chip with this characteristic at present. It supports multi-screen 4K ultra-high definition large screen display and independent point-to-point display. It can easily realize extended display, copy display, splicing display and split combination display. It supports HDMI2.0 and DP1.4 output. 8K integrated display can be realized in four-screen splicing mode. Up to six independent display outputs can be achieved.

In terms of system ecological compatibility, GB2062 supports mainstream graphics API such as OpenGL, OpenGLES and Vulkan, as well as online 3D content real-time rendering based on WebGL, built-in advanced VPU engine, supports H264, H.265 and other mainstream formats, supports the latest FFmpeg and adaptive rate adjustment technology, and is compatible with audio and video standards commonly used in office and multimedia.

The launch of core pupil GB2062 multi-screen series graphics cards effectively fills the blank of domestic GPU application solutions in multi-screen scenarios, and also holds up the banner of domestic GPU diversified scenarios. According to the product planning blueprint of core pupil and Jingyu, in addition to constantly expanding and enriching the product line of multi-screen graphics cards, it will also speed up the launch of Xinchuang, embedded and other graphics card product matrices.
