A netizen posted in the Reddit community that the temperature on the back of iPhone 15 Pro Max rose to 108 °F, equivalent to 42 °C, five minutes after the call, and reached 116.5 °F, equivalent to 47 °C in subsequent tests.

In the Reddit post, some users reported that the iPhone 15 Pro phone would be so hot in his pocket that users had no choice but to take it out, and netizens joked that they could cook.

The media's 6696 user votes showed that 18.79% of users reported experiencing fever problems during charging, 11.22% of users reported experiencing fever problems in intensive scenes such as games, and 26.91% of users reported experiencing fever problems in daily use.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Guo Mingyi interpreted the current overheating of Apple's iPhone 15 Pro phones and said "it has nothing to do with TSMC's 3nm production process."

My investigation pointed out that the overheating problem of the iPhone 15 Pro series has nothing to do with TSMC's 3nm process, and it is probably mainly to make the weight lighter, so a compromise has been made to the design of the heat dissipation system, such as the small heat dissipation area and the use of titanium alloy to affect the heat dissipation effect. Apple is expected to fix the problem by updating the system, but the improvement may be limited unless processor performance is reduced.
