Overall performance software business revenue maintained rapid growth in August, China's software business income was 7.5178 trillion yuan, an increase of 13.5% over the same period last year.

With regard to the growth of ▲ software business revenue, the total profit of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of Tuyuan maintained double-digit growth. In August, the total profit of the software industry totaled 862.8 billion yuan, an increase of 13.9% over the same period last year.

In August, revenue from information technology services totaled 5.0116 trillion yuan, up 14.8 percent from the same period last year, accounting for 66.7 percent of the industry's income. Of this total, the revenue from cloud computing and big data services totaled 753.2 billion yuan, up 15.7 percent from the same period last year, accounting for 15 percent of the information technology service revenue; the integrated circuit design revenue was 199.4 billion yuan, up 5 percent from the same period last year; and the technical service revenue from e-commerce platform was 698.1 billion yuan, up 9 percent from the same period last year.

Revenue from information security grew steadily. In August, revenue from information security products and services was 121.1 billion yuan, up 10% from the same period last year.

Embedded system software revenue grew steadily in August, with embedded system software revenue of 641.3 billion yuan, an increase of 11.7% over the same period last year.

The revenue from software business in the central region was 361.9 billion yuan, an increase of 13.1% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 1 percentage point lower than that in July.

The revenue from software business in the western region was 760.4 billion yuan, an increase of 10.1% over the same period last year, and the growth rate was 0.1% lower than that in July.

The revenue from software business in Northeast China was 171.1 billion yuan, up 13.3% from the same period last year, and the growth rate was 1.1% lower than that in July.

The software business income of the four regions accounted for 82.8%, 4.8%, 10.1% and 2.3% of the total national income, respectively.

Among the top five provinces in software business income, the software income of Beijing, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Shandong and Shanghai was 1.6277 trillion yuan, 1.3224 trillion yuan, 882 billion yuan, 781.3 billion yuan and 659.9 billion yuan respectively, up 18%, 14%, 16.9% and 19.2% respectively The total software business income of the five provinces (cities) is 5.2733 trillion yuan, accounting for 70.1% of the national total, accounting for 1 percentage point higher than that of the same period last year.
